National Medical University of Kazakhstan
Among Kazakhstan’s best medical schools is Kazakh National Medical University (KazNMU). The university was founded in 1930 in Almaty City’s rural district. One million to five million people are thought to live in the city. In 2001, KazNMU’s outstanding academic performance earned it the title of national university from the Kazakh government.
